Blue Frog Hoof Clay is a multi-purpose topical hoof clay designed to fight bacterial and fungal issues in the equine hoof. Capturing copper's natural antimicrobial powers in a moldable clay that is easy to apply and quick to work. Clay comes in an 18oz jar.
We recommend this product for horses in turnout with mud as a protective barrier in the collateral grooves and central sulcus of the hoof for preventative measures, or for active cases of thrush. It can be applied directly to the hoof, and no additional wraps are needed.
Ingredients:
Bentonite Clay - This is the "glue" that holds the copper sulfate in place
Copper Sulfate - This is the active ingredient, that works hard to beat the thrush, formulated at the USDA recommended percentage for safe use.
Vinegar - Keeps it stable
Vegetable Glycerin - Makes it smooth to apply
Propylene Glycol - No freezing! We use a food grade propylene glycol safe for animals and humans. Not to be confused with other glycols.
